REVIEW:
The King Of Kazam is a children’s illustrated fiction book written by Jen Hyatt and illustrated by Cassandra Harrison. All profits from the book go to The Trussell Trust.
A great children’s story following Kandy and Kane as they try to bring down their greedy dad, The King of Kazam, with a river of poo of all things.
This is a fantastic book for children and would have been one I would have read to my kids when they were young. The story itself provides good live lessons for kids to learn especially around how to be kind to people and not to be selfish. I liked the added addition of rhyming prose which gave it a nursery rhyme feel for me but overall just added to the fun of reading it. Add to this the great illustrations on every page that allow kids to follow along if they can’t read yet while they’re parent reads to them.
A great gift to give to a child and read to over and over again with the added knowledge the proceeds are going to help an amazing cause.
